Pocket Live AI Privacy Policy
Version 2.2 · Effective October 20, 2026
This policy explains what Pocket Live AI ("we", "us") collects, why, who receives it, and how you can delete it.
1. What we collect
- Account: your email address, or the identifier and email address given to us by Google or GitHub if you sign in with them. We never receive your passwords for those services.
- Nickname and guest ID: the name shown with your public comments (if you have not set one, a masked form of your email prefix such as "ab***"); a random identifier stored in a cookie, not linked to your identity, before you sign in.
- What you send to AI hosts: private-chat messages and your chat history with each host; photos, videos and files you choose to send; the name, personality and images of hosts you create.
- Public content: comments in live rooms and voice rooms, and what you say on the mic in a voice room (transcribed and shown in the room).
- Voice: microphone audio during calls and while you are on the mic, streamed in real time. We do not record or store your audio.
- Purchases and credits: the order number, pack, amount and time of each purchase and the payment provider's transaction reference, and how you spend credits. Our payment provider collects your payment details directly; we never see your payment card.
- Activity and diagnostics: follows, likes, gifts, reports and blocks; call diagnostics and standard server logs (IP address, time, app version).
We do not collect your precise location, contacts or advertising identifier. The web version never turns on your camera. Your browser asks for microphone permission only when you start a call or go on the mic.
2. How we use it
To run the service (rooms, chats, calls, hosts, credits), to generate the AI hosts' replies, to show public content to others in the room, to keep the community safe (filtering, reports, enforcement), and to fix problems and prevent fraud. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, track you across other companies' apps or websites, or use your chats, photos, videos or voice to train AI models.
3. Third-party AI services
The hosts' replies, voices and video are produced by these services. Each receives only what the feature you are using needs:
- Alibaba Cloud Model Studio (Qwen models, including Qwen-Omni): your voice in calls and on the mic, photos and video frames you send, your earlier chat history with that host, and comments together with your public nickname.
- Volcengine (ByteDance Doubao): in some one-to-one voice and video calls, your voice in that call and the host's persona, to understand you and produce the host's voice and replies. Only used if you agreed on a version of the AI data notice that lists it. It receives a random session ID, never your account ID or email. Separately, for hosts with Doubao live voice replies, we send your live comments, public nickname and gift information only if you accept the optional live permission notice. Declining that permission still lets you watch and post publicly; those interactions are not sent to Doubao for voice replies. Withdrawing AI-processing consent also withdraws this live permission.
- DeepSeek: your text messages and text from files you send, your earlier chat history with that host, comments together with your public nickname, and descriptions you write for a host.
- OpenAI (GPT Image): the description you write when you ask it to draw a host's portrait.
- Alibaba Cloud Real-Time Communication: call audio and video, in transit only.
- ShengShu Technology (Vidu): the host's image and reply audio, what you say in a video call, and some comments together with your public nickname. It receives a pseudonymous ID, never your account ID or email.
Data is sent over encrypted connections and used by these providers only to provide their service to us; we require them to give it the same or equal protection as this policy. The app asks for your permission before your content is first sent to them, and you can withdraw it at any time in Me → AI data processing.
4. Other service providers and storage
our payment provider (web payments), Google and GitHub (sign-in, if you choose them), Alibaba Cloud in Singapore (hosting), Cloudflare (network protection) and an email delivery provider (sign-in codes). Our servers are in Singapore; some of the providers above process data in mainland China or the United States, always over encrypted connections. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
Until you delete your account. Voice audio is never stored, and server logs are overwritten automatically. Purchase records and the record of your AI-processing consent are kept after deletion, without your name or email address, for accounting, fraud prevention and proof of consent.
6. Your choices
- Delete your account: Me → Delete account. Your account and everything in it (chats, files, hosts you created, follows, comments, activity) are deleted immediately and permanently, and unused credits are lost. If you cannot use the app, email us from your account's email address.
- Withdraw AI-processing consent: Me → AI data processing.
- Other requests (access, correction, export or deletion): email us and we will reply within 30 days.
7. Security and age
All traffic is encrypted, and access to our systems is limited to authorized staff. Pocket Live AI is for adults 18 and older; we do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger and will delete it if we learn of it.
8. Changes and contact
We will tell you in the app before any material change takes effect. Pocket Live AI is operated by Beijing AgentsDance AI Technology Co., Ltd. Contact: [email protected].
